A sensory garden for children with autism for Jacaranda Primary School: help our neighbors in Dhaka
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $450 for materials.
🇧🇩 Bangladesh820 views
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 188 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
• Materials: $365
Thanks for reading all this.

So sorry you're going through this, Bappy. Gave what I could, wish it was more. It's not much but it's yours.
shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Santos donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
