A room near the Birmingham Cancer Centre for a family from a village four hours away
Looking for a host or low-cost room within 30 minutes of the Birmingham Cancer Centre.

My brother Matthew has been accepted for treatment at the Birmingham Cancer Centre in Birmingham, starting on Tuesday in December. We live 401 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Matthew and me. We can contribute $105 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Matthew will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
Glad we found this place.

Sending strength. Get well soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry

Sending good thoughts, Dylan. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted. God bless.
Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Uberlândia.
Wishing Matthew a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
