A room near Niterói University Hospital for a family from a rural district
A family from a rural district needs lodging in Niterói while a child is treated.

My father Rodrigo has been accepted for treatment at Niterói University Hospital in Niterói, starting on Wednesday in March. We live 551 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Rodrigo and me. We can contribute $30 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Rodrigo will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
Thank you for reading my story.

Keep going, Patrícia. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
Good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Please keep us posted. All the best.
Praying for you. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless.
hang in there. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
Best of luck, Patrícia. Hope the doctors have good news. God bless.
wishing you the best, Patrícia. Wishing Rodrigo a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't give up.
praying for you, Patrícia. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Niterói.
Best of luck. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
Hope this works out for you. Love from Raleigh
