My husband Bishnu has been accepted for treatment at Dharan Transplant Centre in Dharan, starting on Friday in August. We live 225 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 4 weeks. Two of us would stay: Bishnu and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Bishnu will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. I hope life is good to you.

  • sending love, Sushila. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it

    • sending good thoughts. Hope the doctors have good news. After 10 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything
