A ride from Los Angeles to the capital for Jun-seo's new job

A ride and a few boxes: that's all that stands between Jun-seo and a new job.

I have been offered a job in the capital, starting on Monday in August. I can't afford the bus and the 7 boxes I need to carry with me, and moving costs are beyond my means. If you or someone you know is driving between Los Angeles and the capital, I'd love to share the journey, and I can cover fuel. If you have a van and a free day, even better. I'm a good conversationalist but happy to be quiet. I have a reference from my last employer and from the person I'll be renting from in the capital. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Best of luck, Jun-seo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Magelang.

    • Thinking of you, Jun-seo. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out

      • Thinking of you and your family. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Guadalajara so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Los Angeles.

        • Wishing you peace. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Saket

          • Hope the shop reopens soon. After 8 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything

            • Good luck, Jun-seo. Hope you get there. Blessings.

              • So sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Surat.

                • Hope the shop reopens soon. Sent it to 29 people at work. God bless.

                  • You're not alone, Jun-seo. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Los Angeles

                    • Take care. Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours. All the best!
