A repair café workshop for Union Park: help our neighbors in Regensburg

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,550. It will serve about 520 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $1,550 goes: • Materials: $770 • Permits and inspections: $125 • Safety equipment and signage: $350 • Tools hire and delivery: $305 Every share and every dollar helps. - Tobias
