A repair café workshop for the Pioneer health centre yard: help our neighbors in Nnewi
Volunteers in Nnewi are raising $600 for a repair café workshop at the Pioneer health centre yard.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 342 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Materials: $490
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
