For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,700. It will serve about 162 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $2,700 goes: • Materials: $1,800 • Permits and inspections: $250 • Safety equipment and signage: $290 • Tools hire and delivery: $360 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Sending love, Henry. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Gazipur.

    • Great idea, hope you get there. We're a small family in Tarragona but we're thinking of you

      • Wishing you peace, Henry. Great idea, hope you get there. All the best.

        • Hope things get better soon, Henry. More neighborhoods should do this. After 15 years in farming I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
