A repair café workshop for the old Baobab bus depot: help our neighbors in Iloilo City
A community-led a repair café workshop at the old Baobab bus depot that will serve 340 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Baobab bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 340 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $530
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $90
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
