A repair café workshop for the Maple community hall: help our neighbors in Denver
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Maple community hall that will serve 145 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,200.
It will serve about 145 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Permits and inspections: $135
• Materials: $1,585

It's all in the list in the story. tools hire and delivery is the big one at $480, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
