A repair café workshop for the Lotus health centre yard: help our neighbors in Adama

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 485 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
