A repair café workshop for the Liberty health centre yard: help our neighbors in Jakarta Selatan
Volunteers in Jakarta Selatan are raising $500 for a repair café workshop at the Liberty health centre yard.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 213 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $360
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
