A community-led a repair café workshop at the Jacaranda health centre yard that will serve 347 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 347 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $800 goes:
• Materials: $670
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $70
