A repair café workshop for Maple Park: help our neighbors in Mar del Plata
A community-led a repair café workshop at Maple Park that will serve 469 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 469 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $800 goes:
• Materials: $580
• Permits and inspections: $95
• Safety equipment and signage: $85
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
