A repair café workshop for Liberty Primary School: help our neighbors in Peoria

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 429 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Permits and inspections: $145 • Safety equipment and signage: $260 • Tools hire and delivery: $145 Thanks for reading all this. - Lorenzo
