A repair café workshop for Harmony Park: help our neighbors in London
A community-led a repair café workshop at Harmony Park that will serve 474 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,300.
It will serve about 474 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• Materials: $2,300
• Permits and inspections: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $390
• Tools hire and delivery: $360
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
