A repair café workshop: a volunteer-led effort in Thủ Đức
A community-led a repair café workshop at Acacia Primary School that will serve 130 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 130 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $530
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
