A repair café workshop: a volunteer-led effort in Paris
Volunteers in Paris are raising $1,450 for a repair café workshop at Harmony Primary School.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,450.
It will serve about 283 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
