A repair café workshop: a volunteer-led effort in Jerusalem
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $3,150 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,150.
It will serve about 250 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Materials: $2,200
• Permits and inspections: $340
• Safety equipment and signage: $260
• Tools hire and delivery: $350
With deep gratitude,
Omer

Good news. Because of your gifts ($1,708 in total) the plan for permits and inspections is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 44% now ($1,397). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
