Adama
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $100. It will serve about 98 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $100 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $25 • Permits and inspections: $15 • Tools hire and delivery: $60 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Almaz

Safety equipment and signage is $25 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page.
