A ramp for Rasika: volunteers and tools needed
Rasika uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Rasika has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Rasika can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Rasika's family will cook lunch for the team.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care
this could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
