A ramp for Priscila: volunteers and tools needed
Help Priscila regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇧🇷 São Paulo, Brazil459 views
Priscila has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Priscila can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Priscila's family will cook lunch for the team.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

best of luck, Marcelo. Wishing Priscila a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Sending strength, Marcelo. Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Arusha donated after I showed her your page.
Sending good thoughts, Marcelo. This could happen to any of us. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Sending love. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Love from Pattaya.
So sorry you're going through this, Marcelo. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
rooting for you, Marcelo. Hope you get there. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Tampa so I could bring a meal. All the best
