A ramp for Liliana: volunteers and tools needed
Help Liliana regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom126 views
Liliana has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Liliana can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Liliana's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.
