A ramp for Bhavna: volunteers and tools needed
Help Bhavna regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇮🇳 Rohini, Delhi, India1,394 views
Bhavna has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Bhavna can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Bhavna's family will cook lunch for the team.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending good thoughts. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We're a small family in Grand Rapids but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Grand Rapids.
Thinking of you and your family, Kshitija. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Durham donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
