A rainwater harvesting system for the Sycamore community hall: help our neighbors in Rohini
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the Sycamore community hall that will serve 192 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 192 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $140
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
Thank you so much.

Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
Sending good thoughts, Naresh. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 19 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings
Wishing you the best, Naresh. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together.
Take care. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Love from Naivasha
Rooting for you, Naresh. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Blessings.
