A rainwater harvesting system for the old Unity bus depot: help our neighbors in Madina
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $650 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 415 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $460
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $100
