A rainwater harvesting system for the Harmony community hall: help our neighbors in Dammam
Volunteers in Dammam are raising $2,300 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Harmony community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,300.
It will serve about 322 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Materials: $1,700
• Permits and inspections: $220
• Safety equipment and signage: $135
• Tools hire and delivery: $245
