A rainwater harvesting system for the Cedar health centre yard: help our neighbors in Nagpur

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 500 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $400 • Permits and inspections: $55 • Safety equipment and signage: $70 • Tools hire and delivery: $25 Thanks for reading all this.
