A rainwater harvesting system for Harmony Primary School: help our neighbors in Alcalá de Henares
Volunteers in Alcalá de Henares are raising $1,650 for a rainwater harvesting system at Harmony Primary School.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,650.
It will serve about 150 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Materials: $820
• Permits and inspections: $130
• Safety equipment and signage: $330
• Tools hire and delivery: $370
