A rainwater harvesting system for Freedom Primary School: help our neighbors in Karachi

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 278 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $350 goes: • Materials: $240 • Permits and inspections: $30 • Safety equipment and signage: $25 • Tools hire and delivery: $55 Thank you so much. - Tariq
