A rainwater harvesting system for Cedar Primary School: help our neighbors in Nagpur

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 137 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $450 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Tools hire and delivery: $20 Glad we found this place.
