A rainwater harvesting system: a volunteer-led effort in Halifax
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $3,550 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $3,550.
It will serve about 427 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $370
• Tools hire and delivery: $495
