A prosthetic leg for Yuma: help Yuma move freely
Help Yuma get a prosthetic leg so He can go to school independently.
🇯🇵 Japan140 views
Yuma lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at the Shinjuku Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Yuma could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $70
• First-year servicing plan: $280
• Fitting and training sessions: $150
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
