A prosthetic leg for Vanessa: help Vanessa move freely
Help Vanessa get a prosthetic leg so She can go outside without waiting for someone to push.
🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines855 views
Vanessa lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Manila Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $950.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Vanessa could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $950 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $820
• First-year servicing plan: $60
• Fitting and training sessions: $70
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Vanessa.
Prosthetic leg is $820 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
