A prosthetic leg for Emeka: help Emeka move freely
A prosthetic leg would give Emeka independence - we're $100 away.
🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria1,178 views
Emeka lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Epe Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Emeka could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $100 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $55
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $10
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
