Eamon lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Limerick General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $6,000. His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Eamon could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $6,000 goes: • prosthetic leg: $5,250 • Fitting and training sessions: $290 • Delivery and set-up: $55 • First-year servicing plan: $405 Every share and every dollar helps.
