I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Nairobi Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around him. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• prosthetic leg: $630
• First-year servicing plan: $60
• Delivery and set-up: $10
