Balaji needs a prosthetic leg that the health system won't fund; the cost is $1,350.

Balaji lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Dwarka Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350.
His current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Balaji could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
