A powered wheelchair for Zara: help Zara move freely

A powered wheelchair would give Zara independence - we're $500 away.

Multan
Zara lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Multan Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500. Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Zara could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $500 goes: • powered wheelchair: $430 • Fitting and training sessions: $15 • Delivery and set-up: $25 • First-year servicing plan: $30 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Mahnoor
