A powered wheelchair for Sergei: help me move freely
A powered wheelchair would give Sergei independence - we are $150 away.
πΊπ¦ Ukraine1,009 views
I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Odesa Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go to school independently. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $150 goes:
β’ Delivery and set-up: $20
β’ First-year servicing plan: $65
β’ Fitting and training sessions: $65
Thank you so much.
