A powered wheelchair for Bella: help Bella move freely
A powered wheelchair would give Bella independence - we're $10,250 away.
🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States816 views
Bella lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Sacramento Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $10,250.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Bella could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $10,250 goes:
• powered wheelchair: $9,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $220
• Delivery and set-up: $240
• First-year servicing plan: $290
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
