A playground for Union Park: help our neighbors in Cincinnati
A community-led a playground at Union Park that will serve 402 neighbors.
🇺🇸 United States1,432 views
For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,950.
It will serve about 402 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,950 goes:
• Materials: $2,850
• Permits and inspections: $340
• Safety equipment and signage: $340
• Tools hire and delivery: $420
Thanks for being kind about this.

Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Gujranwala
