A playground for the Sycamore community hall: help our neighbors in Lalitpur

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $250. It will serve about 336 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $250 goes: • Materials: $150 • Permits and inspections: $15 • Safety equipment and signage: $35 • Tools hire and delivery: $50 If you're reading this, thank you.
