A playground for the Sycamore community hall: help our neighbors in São Paulo
Volunteers in São Paulo are raising $550 for a playground at the Sycamore community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 573 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $360
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $130
