A playground for the Sycamore community hall: help our neighbors in Paris
A community-led a playground at the Sycamore community hall that will serve 459 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,700.
It will serve about 459 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Materials: $2,100
• Safety equipment and signage: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $420
