A playground for the old Lotus bus depot: help our neighbors in New Delhi
Volunteers in New Delhi are raising $550 for a playground at the old Lotus bus depot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Lotus bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 524 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
