A playground for the old Lotus bus depot: help our neighbors in Feira de Santana
Volunteers in Feira de Santana are raising $200 for a playground at the old Lotus bus depot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Lotus bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $200.
It will serve about 303 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $200 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $115
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
Every share and every dollar helps.
