A playground for the old Harmony bus depot: help our neighbors in Thane
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $500 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Harmony bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 234 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $410
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
