A playground for the Maple health centre yard: help our neighbors in Rockford
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $1,500 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,500.
It will serve about 582 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $140
• Tools hire and delivery: $350
• Materials: $1,010
