A playground for the Liberty community hall: help our neighbors in Kelowna
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $2,700 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,700.
It will serve about 289 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Materials: $2,100
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Safety equipment and signage: $105
• Tools hire and delivery: $265
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sure. The biggest one is materials, $2,100. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
